Baldeep Singh Sarao alias Bali has also been named in the FIR. He works as the manager for Punjabi singer Karan Aujla. Two unknown men are also booked under the Arms Act and other laws.
The fight began when Aniket Gupta had an argument with Trehan’s friend. Trehan tried to stop them, but Gupta attacked him instead. Gupta told the victim that he is the son of a judge named Munish Gupta. He threatened to shoot Trehan and his family. The victim said the attackers were shouting that they have police links so nobody can touch them.
The trouble grew when two men from the group went to their car and brought out a pistol. They waved the gun in the air to scare the club owners who tried to help Trehan. They later ran away in a BMW X7. At that time, they even tried to run over the club staff and hit three or four other cars in the parking area.
After getting the call, Sector 26 police station teams reached the club and later sent the injured student to the Sector 16 hospital for a checkup. After getting the medical report, Officer Anchal Kumari started the probe. Police teams are now checking the CCTV cameras from the club area to find the attackers.
